Making News for Award-Winning Service

As a recipient of DWA’s coveted H4S award, Brittany doesn’t brag about her many achievements, but they abound. She exemplifies outstanding service, both to clients and to colleagues. And while she doesn’t seek out recognition, she treasures the appreciation.

“For me, the awards program is great and an absolutely necessary. All project leads here make their team feel appreciated, and that extends to the whole company. It’s a great way for people to recognize one another. When we’re up against tight deadlines, it’s nice to have that appreciation to keep us moving forward.”

Brittany started at DWA in 2008 as Senior Coordinator of Marketing Research and Analytics. Her efforts won her seven awards that first year. At DWA, she found a perfect outlet for her interests in neuroscience, market research, and the psychology of marketing. In 2009, she was promoted to Project Manager, garnering still more awards. She is currently a senior project manager working on integrating advanced program attendee analytics and analytics modeling into the department. She appreciates the flexibility and autonomy she has in her work.

“There’s no micromanagement. I’m on my own to manage my work but there are always people who jump in to help when needed. The company supports the balance between life and work.”

Brittany has established herself as a point of contact for list management capabilities within the company. She understands the rules and is vigilant about observing compliance criteria and personal information requirements, as well as adhering to marketing laws regarding opt-outs, federal CAN-SPAM regulations, data storage, and others. Because of the complexity of list management when communicating with healthcare providers, she finds her biggest role as devil’s advocate. “I’m always outlining risks.” She also writes formulas and functions to expedite processes involving project support services and other departments. Her goal is to “work on making everything right.”

For Brittany, the one word that describes DWA is “family.”

“This company is family-oriented, and the family feeling extends outward to everyone else. We have close working relationships. We share the same values and sense of culture. Deborah and everyone here build upon on that.”
