Through DWA CARES, we encourage employees to donate time to charitable organizations, raise funds for research into diseases such as diabetes and muscular dystrophy, and support education and service groups. We take Action and Responsibility for supporting numerous charitable events and organizations in our community.
We Empower our people to lead these efforts because we believe that true leadership is reflected in Service to others.
As a United Way company, we provide funds and volunteer service to United Way agencies such as the St. Mary’s Child Center, Theraplay, and others.
As good citizens, we help children of fallen local firefighters and police officers and offer support to families in crisis. We provide responsible leadership on boards of directors for community and charitable organizations. We value patriotism and honor our heroes.
Serving others infuses our work life—service to community, to clients, and to each other.

WE ARE Green
DWA also cares about service to the planet and to future generations. As DWA CARES so effectively demonstrates, we have a responsibility to take action within our community—to empower our peers and to serve others. The DWA Green Initiative is an extension of our current service to the community as we strive to reduce our environmental footprint and increase our environmental awareness.
We currently have a number of green practices in place throughout the office, and are seeking to expand these efforts. We reuse materials and supplies when possible; we recycle cardboard, aluminum cans, and paper; and we properly dispose of unwanted electronics and empty toner cartridges, recycling them when possible.
Over the next few months, several new efforts will take effect within the office as our new Green Team gets busy finding new ways for us to be green and growing.
